Superb Ancient Egyptian necklace; composed of large Lapis Lazuli beads. The Lapis stone was a rare and expensive commodity for the Ancient Egyptians and was worn only by the highest social classes. The necklace is cleaned, beads conserved and ready for contemporary wear.
